Phil Doyle

Director

Phil is a founding Director of 5plus Architects and has led a range of landmark projects across a variety of sectors, including an extensive portfolio of award-winning workplace schemes.

Phil’s key expertise is providing strategic architectural advice and direction to complex developments. This expertise spans many sectors including the cross over between urban design, architecture and interiors as well as the overarching themes of sustainable design and occupant health and well-being.

Phil’s expertise in workplace projects has led to a long-standing association with the British Council for Offices, having been Chairman of the Northern Chapter Committee 2018 – 2021 during which time he led the establishment of the Northern Ireland working group.

Between 2010-13 Phil was a Northern Region BCO Awards judge and sat on the BCO Technical Affairs Committee which included a lead architectural input to the BCO Guide to Specification 2019. He remains a member of the Northern Region Committee and regularly contributes to workplace events and forums.

Phil is an avid and (sometimes) overly competitive “parkrunner”, a supporter of the arts and lost (sometimes worthy) causes.
