Working for Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), we designed and are delivering a series of Student Hubs. The aim, to transform the existing student support service across three locations on their All Saints campus; the Business School, Geoffrey Manton and the Brooks building.

The brief for the improved service was developed by the Student Journey Transformation Programme (SJTP) and translated into an architectural and interiors brief by the 5plus team.

The project delivers a transformational service brief, where student support will be provided by a predominantly on-line digital service, supported by on-campus hubs, located in strategic locations. The study began by mapping the ‘customer’ journey through the enquiry process and then by developing a series of customer support settings to respond to each scenario.

Each setting has been designed as a kit of parts, so there is a similar look and feel across all locations, with a bespoke graphics package developed by the 5plus team to tie the settings together.
