We were appointed in mid-2018 to establish proposals for the reconfiguration and refurbishment of Highview House, Bracknell. Located in the centre of Bracknell, the building is a seven storey mixed use development incorporating retail on the ground and first floors with 1800 sqm of office space on the upper levels. The ground floor access to the building is located on a predominantly retail street and the office entrance and reception currently occupies a diminutive single storey unit.

The centre has been extensively regenerated in recent years and the overarching brief for the scheme is to improve the buildings street presence and to transform the reception and office floors to improve the, currently vacant, building’s letting potential.

Our design proposals address the following:

  • The re-configuration and refurbishment of the lower entrance level and reception space.

  • Floor plate refurbishment including studies to review the extension of WC areas and concepts and concepts / co-ordination of floor plate M&E refurbishment.

  • Co-ordination of new M&E throughout, including lifts.

Our approach for the office floorplate is to ensure fully compliant workspaces and facilities in relation to internal environmental provision and welfare facilities whilst seeking to maximise the NIA.

The project is currently on site and is due to complete early 2021.
