Heron House, Manchester
Grade A office refurbishment in the heart of Manchester’s Civic Quarter

Client
Manchester City Council & Bruntwood (Development Manager)

Overview
Location: Manchester
Value: Confidential
Size: 100,000sqft
Service: Architecture

Our design proposals for Heron House aspire to create Grade A office accommodation in the heart of Manchester’s Civic Quarter. The building forms the gateway to the wider Lincoln Square Masterplan which is helping to revitalise and reinvigorate this important area between the Town Hall and Spinningfields in central Manchester.

Working with Development Manager, Bruntwood, we have explored a number of feasibility studies for the refurbishment of the building. We have developed proposals for the full refurbishment of the office floors and common areas along with the remodelling of the main reception and the envelope at the Albert Square / Brazennose Street corner. All building services are to be replaced and the overarching strategy is to be mixed-mode ventilation.

Full case study coming soon.
