Corn Exchange Wins NW Regional Construction Award

5plus architects is delighted to announce that Corn Exchange, Phase II was named the winner of the Preservation & Rejuvenation Award at the recent North West Regional Construction Awards.

The award “recognises the achievement of high standards in the repair, re-use and revitalisation of the region’s historic buildings, sites and places.”

Phase II of the project has seen the transformation of the upper floors of the Grade II listed building into one of Manchester’s most vibrant hotel and leisure destinations. 5plus also acted as lead for Phase I of the project which saw the lower floors refurbished to accommodate a new dining destination of 17 bars and restaurants.

The title continues a successful year for the project which has seen it shortlisted in both the Insider North West Property Awards and the Construction News Awards.

Congratulations to all the finalists, including a special mention for our Heron House project which was a finalist in 2 other categories.
