All proceeds from the sales of our limited-edition book ‘You Live With us, We Live With You’ produced with artist photographer Simon Buckley are going to support the wonderful work of the 42nd Street charity.
Based just round the corner from us on Great Ancoats Street the charity provides support for young people aged 11-25 to help with their emotional well-being and mental health.
Appropriately this work often involves creative projects and the development of new skills to help them find their voice.
It is an inspiring space doing incredible things and if you’ve never heard of 42nd Street you can learn more here.
It was a pleasure to meet the chief executive Simone Spray and we hope this will be the start of a long association between 5plus and the charity.
On this occasion, we have been able to donate £1,300 – and every time another book sells another £30 goes to help support a young person who is struggling.
Simone said: “The partnership between 5plus and 42nd Street is such a wonderful fit; we are both local organisations that care about the future of the city and the young people within it.
“The book that they have produced is absolutely beautiful and inspires its audience to re-think our urban environments through the lens of dusk and dawn.”
Limited edition signed copies are available through Simon’s website here.
